OCA Donates CPR Mannequins to Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists for Community Training

In a step towards enhancing life-saving skills in the community, OCA has donated five CPR mannequins to the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (ISA) to support training programs aimed at saving lives. The donation was handed over by our patient support executive, Mr. Masood Kazi, to Dr. Yogita Patil and the ISA team at KEM Hospital, Parel.

The Importance of CPR Training

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a critical emergency procedure that can make the difference between life and death in cases of sudden cardiac arrest. Timely and effective CPR can significantly improve survival rates by maintaining blood flow to vital organs until professional medical help arrives.

The provision of these CPR mannequins will empower medical professionals, students, and community members to practice and refine their resuscitation skills, ensuring more people are equipped to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Role of the Indian Society of Anesthesiologists

The Indian Society of Anesthesiologists (ISA) plays a crucial role in advancing medical education and emergency preparedness across India. By organizing workshops and hands-on training sessions, ISA helps create a well-informed and skilled network of first responders who can intervene promptly in medical emergencies. The donated CPR mannequins will aid in their mission to spread awareness and provide hands-on training in CPR techniques to medical professionals, students, and the general public.

Strengthening Community Health & Emergency Response

OCA’s initiative aligns with its commitment to supporting healthcare professionals and improving community health. By facilitating hands-on training with high-quality CPR mannequins, we aim to contribute to a safer and more prepared society where immediate intervention can save countless lives.

We are proud to collaborate with the ISA team in this life-saving endeavor and hope that our contribution will make a meaningful difference in emergency medical response efforts.
